August 30, 2025 – The 16th China (Shenzhen) International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition, known as CIPR2025, is set to take place at Shenzhen Swallow Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center from December 16 to 18, 2025. As a highly influential event in the industry, this year’s exhibition has captured global attention and will bring together a large number of enterprises and professionals across the plastics and rubber industrial chain.
Boasting a grand scale, CIPR2025 will host over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries worldwide. Among these participants, foreign enterprises account for 25%, and more than 10 Fortune 500 companies will also make an appearance. The exhibition has set up multiple specialized zones covering a wide range of fields, including plastic packaging machinery, injection molding machinery, extrusion machinery, auxiliary equipment and testing instruments, recycling technology, molds and processing equipment, chemicals and raw materials, pigments and color masterbatch, additives, recycled plastics, polymer and biodegradable products. These zones collectively cover nearly the entire plastics and rubber industrial chain.

According to information from the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, Shenzhen Swallow Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center currently has an indoor exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, which has become a key link for global trade and a bridge for win-win cooperation. Leveraging this high-quality venue, this year’s exhibition will provide exhibitors and visitors with an excellent platform for communication and display.
In terms of audience, it is estimated that over 100,000 visitors will attend the exhibition, including more than 30,000 overseas buyers and over 300 visiting groups (230 domestic groups and 70 foreign groups). The list of confirmed professional visitors is quite impressive, covering well-known enterprises in various industries such as automotive, electronics, home appliances, food, pharmaceuticals, packaging, and retail. Notable names include Acura, BMW, BYD, Apple, Samsung, Coca-Cola, and Walmart.
Numerous global exhibitors have high expectations for this exhibition. China National Petroleum Corporation (Sinopec) stated that it will participate with its world-leading “comprehensive chemical material solutions” and use the Shenzhen exhibition as a platform to launch carbon-neutral polyolefins and high-end elastomers globally. BASF, on the other hand, plans to showcase over 100 technologies making their global or Asian debut and upgrade the Shenzhen stop to one of the group’s three major annual strategic release platforms.
To attract more global buyers, the organizers have sent invitations to purchasers around the world through more than 200 commercial institutions of Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, over 60 foreign consulates general in Guangzhou, and more than 100 global partners of this year’s exhibition. Since March 2025, the organizer has also sent teams to visit business associations in nearly 30 countries worldwide to launch global group visiting invitation work, which has received positive responses and high praise from various associations.
In addition, the global promotion of the exhibition has been fully launched, with large-scale advertisements and news features placed on domestic and foreign online media, TV media, and print media. A total of 201 media outlets are involved in the promotion, including 20 foreign online media, 20 foreign newspaper media, 18 foreign TV media, 50 domestic online media, 25 domestic TV media, and 68 domestic newspaper media. Currently, the number of people paying attention to the Shenzhen exhibition has exceeded 10 million, with audiences covering more than 60 countries and regions, and over 100,000 people have requested to visit through media promotions.
With 15 previous editions, the exhibition has accumulated a total transaction volume of 528.6 billion RMB. It is believed that CIPR2025, the 16th China (Shenzhen) International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition, will continue this glory, build an efficient communication and cooperation platform for the global plastics and rubber industry, and drive innovation and development in the sector.
