October 21, 2024 – A significant investment project in the outskirts of Yangquan, Shanxi Province, spearheaded by Tianjin (Zhongda) Group Co., Ltd., has reached a pivotal stage. The first phase of the Yangquan Jinwang Building Materials Factory, an automated production line capable of producing 1.5 million tons of calcium carbonate aggregates annually, is now undergoing crucial individual equipment testing. According to project officials, a comprehensive joint equipment debugging is anticipated to commence at the end of this month, swiftly transitioning into a trial production phase.
The Jinwang Building Materials Factory boasts an overall plan to produce 1.2 million tons of nano-calcium carbonate products annually, with a total investment of 850 million yuan spread across two phases. The first phase, with an investment of 450 million yuan, encompasses the annual extraction of 1.5 million tons of calcium carbonate raw materials, the establishment of a fully automated deep processing line, and supporting infrastructure including construction, dispatch command, and laboratory facilities, spanning 21,500 square meters. The production line incorporates advanced two-stage crushing, two-stage screening, and one-stage powder selection processes, complemented by six storage bins and a shipping plaza capable of accommodating 12 semi-trailers for simultaneous loading. The product range is comprehensive, offering six sizes from 0-5mm to 50-80mm.
Since its signing in June of the previous year, the first phase has progressed rapidly, with 210 million yuan already invested. Both construction and mechanical installation have been successfully completed, allowing the project team to initiate operational testing of key systems such as air compression jaw crushers, elevator conveyors, vibratory screening, finished product storage, and environmental dust control. By the end of this month, all equipment is expected to complete joint debugging, marking the official commencement of trial production and the bulk output of various calcium carbonate aggregates.
