May 15, 2025 – Construction Boom at Jiangsu Wurancaiye Tech: Pioneering Green Polymer Materials Project on Track for Rapid Completion
The construction site of Jiangsu Wurancaiye Technology Co., Ltd., a flagship project in Xuyi’s new materials sector, is buzzing with activity as tower cranes swing overhead and welding sparks fly. Over 500 workers are racing against the clock to complete tasks such as reinforcing steel bars, laying formwork, and pouring concrete. “We increased our construction machinery and workforce by 20% during the Labor Day holiday to ensure the main structure is topped out by the end of June,” the project manager revealed, emphasizing the team’s commitment to scientific scheduling and cross-disciplinary collaboration to meet annual targets.

Currently, the project’s comprehensive factory construction is in full swing: The first, second, and third front-spinning workshops have taken shape, with the main structure reaching the third floor. In the first feeding workshop, scaffolding erection and formwork installation are progressing simultaneously, while workers in the second and third feeding workshops focus on roof steel bar binding. According to industry sources, the project aims to fully enclose all sub-workshops by late May and plans to initiate equipment installation in July.
As a key benchmark project in Xuyi’s new materials industry, Jiangsu Wurancaiye Technology is investing a total of RMB 5.1 billion to establish a globally leading green circular economy chain. Leveraging three decades of technical expertise in eco-friendly textiles, the project will develop a 260,000-square-meter intelligent production base, introducing 51 world-class production lines, including staple fiber lines and PET washing systems. It is expected to produce 800,000 tons annually of green polyester materials, such as melt-spun polyester staple fibers and color masterbatches, with an estimated annual output value exceeding RMB 7 billion post-commissioning.
Since its official launch on the ninth day of the first lunar month, the project’s support unit, Guanzhong Town, has adhered to a “three ones” service philosophy—unwavering dedication, relentless progress, and thorough execution. Led by top officials, the town has implemented a distinct working mechanism featuring daily progress reviews, morning coordination meetings, and on-site supervision, providing robust support for the project. Transitioning from vacant land to full-scale foundation work in just 45 days, the project has repeatedly set new records for construction speed in Xuyi.
