December 25, 2024 – The 33rd edition of Plast Eurasia, Turkey’s premier plastic and rubber exhibition, concluded successfully on December 7th, marking a grand international exchange in the plastics industry. Held at the Tüyap Exhibition and Convention Center in Istanbul, the event was a colossal affair, spanning tens of thousands of square meters and drawing attention from numerous countries worldwide.
With 1,607 exhibitors from Germany, Denmark, Iran, Russia, and more, the exhibition showcased a dazzling array of the latest technologies and products in the plastics sector. An estimated over 70,000 industry experts and professionals converged to discuss industry trends and sustainable innovation solutions, cementing Plast Eurasia’s reputation as one of the top exhibitions in the Eurasian plastics industry.

During the opening ceremony, İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tüyap Exhibition Company, proudly proclaimed that the event once again highlighted Turkey’s significant role in the global plastics industry. Yavuz Eroğlu, Chairman of the Turkish Plastics Industry Research, Development, and Education Foundation, noted that Plast Eurasia had evolved into a platform of interest for global investors, with high-level representatives from China and India expressing keen interest in investment opportunities in Turkey.
According to AsiaMB’s Color Masterbatch Industry Network, the exhibition not only fostered international exchange and cooperation but also elevated Turkey’s plastics industry’s global profile. Şekib Avdagiç, President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, emphasized that the event’s international standard showcased Turkey’s industrial strength and potential for collaboration. Mahmut Gürcan, Deputy Minister of Trade, highlighted the plastics industry’s pivotal role in Turkey’s industrial framework and export capabilities, stating that the exhibition provided a crucial opportunity for Turkey’s plastics sector to reach out to the world.
