Jiangsu Peipu Tech Pioneers Textile Circular Economy with Breakthrough Process
AsiaMB Exclusive – Jiangsu Peipu Technology Group has revolutionized textile manufacturing through its innovative “CaleSpin” project, establishing a new benchmark for sustainable fiber production. The company’s proprietary direct-spinning technology transforms post-consumer PET bottles into premium colored yarns, completely bypassing traditional water-intensive dyeing processes.

At the core of this advancement lies Peipu’s physical regeneration technology, which overcomes longstanding industry challenges including viscosity instability and strength deficiencies in recycled fibers. Currently operating two production lines with 180-ton daily output of POY and FDY products, the company anticipates reaching full annual capacity of 250,000 metric tons by year-end.
“The waterless coloration system represents a quantum leap in sustainable manufacturing,” explained Peipu’s Chief Technology Officer. By integrating masterbatch directly into the spinning melt, the process achieves 90% water savings compared to conventional methods, with projected annual carbon-negative impact exceeding 120,000 tons. The production facility utilizes precision equipment from global leaders like Germany’s Barmag and Japan’s TMT to maintain consistent quality standards.
Peipu’s circular economy initiatives continue to expand, with plans underway for a 10-billion-yuan enzymatic recycling project following its successful development of ultra-fine denier fiber-grade rPET chips. This next-phase investment aims to establish true “textile-to-textile” closed-loop recycling capability.
Industry analysts highlight Peipu’s model as transformative for China’s textile sector. “Their integrated approach from waste collection to finished product sets a replicable template for sustainable manufacturing,” noted an AsiaMB sustainability expert. The company’s innovations come as global brands increasingly demand traceable, low-carbon textile solutions.
