January 18, 2025 – China Tianchen Achieves Milestone in Coal-to-Hydrogen Project with Successful Gasifier Installation
In a significant development, the first gasifier for the coal-to-hydrogen project of the Northern Huajin Fine Chemical and Raw Material Engineering, contracted by China Tianchen Engineering Corporation, has been successfully installed. This landmark achievement marks the official entry of the project into the peak installation phase, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of subsequent construction.
With a total investment of RMB 83.7 billion, this project is a major collaboration between China and Saudi Arabia under the Belt and Road Initiative and has been successfully included in the national plan. Northern Huajin United Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has been tasked with the construction of this ambitious project. Upon completion and commissioning, it is expected to vigorously drive the emergence of a series of upstream and downstream industrial chain supporting projects, forming a new pattern of industrial agglomeration and development featuring high-end polyolefins, new materials, and renewable energy.
