Saudi Arabia’s Gulf 4P Expo 2025: Unveiling Innovations in Plastics, Printing, Advertising, and Chemicals

March 21, 2025 – The Gulf 4P Exhibition, focusing on plastics, printing & packaging, advertising, and chemicals, is set to take place from December 1 to December 4, 2025, at the Dammam International Exhibition Center. Organized by Dubai’s MIE Group and with Shanghai Oucheng Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. serving as the official first-tier agent, the event promises to provide an efficient platform for exhibitors and buyers to engage in fruitful cooperation and exchanges.

This exhibition spotlights four major sectors: plastics, printing & packaging, advertising, and chemicals, aiming to showcase cutting-edge technologies, innovative products, and premium services from around the globe. According to industry insights from Color Masterbatch Industry Network, Saudi Arabia, as the largest economy in the Middle East, boasts proven crude oil reserves of 40.9 billion tons, accounting for 17.2% of the world’s total and ranking second globally. The Gulf countries are currently undertaking plastic and petrochemical projects valued at USD 19 billion, with Saudi Arabia leading the way with projects worth USD 12 billion and an additional USD 41 billion in projects under planning. The Saudi plastics, printing & packaging, and advertising industries hold immense market potential, with a market value reaching USD 33 billion in 2020 and projected to maintain a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.8% from 2023 to 2030. Meanwhile, the Saudi packaging industry is one of the largest in the Middle East, valued at USD 2.0448 billion in 2021 and expected to reach USD 2.6252 billion by 2027, with a CAGR of 4.31%.

With the Saudi government’s push for economic openness and diversification, along with the advancement of mega construction projects and preparations for events like the World Expo and World Cup, the plastics, printing & packaging, advertising, and chemical industries in Saudi Arabia are experiencing a boom, particularly in sectors such as household goods, food & beverage, cosmetics, and billboards. However, the manufacturing sector in Saudi Arabia lags behind, relying heavily on imports for machinery such as extruders and injection molding machines, as well as crucial raw materials like color masterbatch, carbon black, stabilizers, and flame retardants.

Dammam, known as the “industrial heart” of Saudi Arabia, is the most industrialized city in the country, home to the headquarters of Saudi Aramco and SABIC, global leaders in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Additionally, Dammam boasts the second-largest port in Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz Port, and King Fahd International Airport (KFIA), established in 1999. Numerous local manufacturers and buyers are expected to converge at this exhibition to seek ideal partners, presenting an unparalleled opportunity for entrepreneurs in the plastics, printing & packaging, advertising, and chemical sectors looking to export to the Middle East.

The exhibition is anticipated to attract over 300 exhibitors from 12 countries, showcasing more than 1,000 products, and welcoming over 9,000 visitors. More than 1,000 B2B business meetings will be held, providing an excellent platform for suppliers and buyers to engage in face-to-face exchanges. The exhibition scope covers a wide range of sectors, including plastics, printing & packaging, advertising, and chemicals, featuring plastic equipment and machinery, rubber products, degradable plastics and their applications, raw materials and auxiliaries, packaging machinery and accessories, packaging containers and technologies, packaging materials and finished products, printing equipment and materials, advertising consumables and supplies, signage and display technologies and equipment, advertising imagery, labels and markings, chemical technologies and equipment, chemical safety and environmental protection, petrochemicals and energy chemicals, basic chemical raw materials, new chemical materials, fine chemicals, chemical packaging and storage & transportation, and smart chemicals – intelligent manufacturing.
