Amidst the crisp sound of a whistle from the site supervisor, the steel structure, bearing the hopes of the project, was slowly lifted by the crane. Through precise maneuvering, it was smoothly lowered and securely installed in its designated position, signaling the successful completion of the hoisting operation. Senior leaders of the company, including Mr. Jin Guangxu, Vice President and Chief Engineer, were present to witness this pivotal moment.

The Nylon 66 project represents another strategic initiative by Liaoyang Petrochemical Company, and its importance cannot be overstated. The company has expressed its commitment to strictly adhering to the established project plan, upholding the principles of “quality first, safety foremost, and efficiency equally important,” and dedicating all efforts to advancing the project’s construction. Through meticulous organization and scientific construction methods, the company aims to ensure that the project’s quality meets the highest standards while safeguarding construction safety, striving to efficiently complete the project within the shortest timeframe possible.

According to Color Masterbatch Industry News, Liaoyang Petrochemical’s 100,000 tons/year Nylon 66 project is an expansion and renovation project located within the existing plant area of the Nylon Operation Department of Liaoyang Petrochemical Branch in Hongwei District, Liaoyang City, covering an area of 5.45 hectares. The project boasts a total investment of 1.21 billion yuan and encompasses major production units, including a 50,000 tons/year adiponitrile unit, a 50,000 tons/year hexamethylenediamine unit, a 120,000 tons/year salt formation unit, and a 100,000 tons/year Nylon 66 unit. The primary raw materials for the project are the company’s self-produced adipic acid and externally purchased liquid ammonia, with the final product being Nylon 66 chips. This will form a complete industrial chain from adipic acid to adiponitrile, hexamethylenediamine, and ultimately Nylon 66. It is worth mentioning that the main process technologies employed in the project are independently developed by Liaoyang Petrochemical, highlighting the company’s technical prowess in the chemical industry.
