February 8, 2025 – Bangladesh Gears Up for IPF 2025: A Grand Exhibition for the Plastics Industry on the Horizon
The 17th International Plastics, Printing, and Packaging Industry Fair (IPF 2025) is set to kick off from February 12 to 15 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Jointly organized by the Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Services Ltd., the expo aims to foster international collaboration and exchange within the plastics sector.

Bangladesh’s plastics industry is poised for growth, with immense market potential. The country’s plastic products have already made their way to markets in the USA, Canada, China, India, Nepal, and the EU, among others. In a bid to promote an environmentally friendly plastics industry, the Bangladeshi government has established a dedicated industrial zone in Munshiganj. As the largest trade exhibition for the plastics, rubber, printing, and packaging industries in Bangladesh, IPF serves as a vital platform for industry stakeholders to explore new opportunities.
According to the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, IPF 2025 will span across 18,000 square meters of exhibition space, hosting 390 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions. They will showcase a comprehensive range of products, including machinery, raw materials, auxiliary equipment, and advanced testing devices. Notably, mainland China will lead the pack with 202 exhibitors, followed by Taiwan with 24 and India with 21.
The expo is also expected to draw the attention of numerous prominent local manufacturers. RFL Plastics, specializing in pipes and PVC products, Bangladesh Industries Group dealing in garment accessories and household items, and Aman Plastic Indians producing plastic toys, are just a few examples of the companies that will showcase their latest products and technologies. Together, they will seek collaboration and growth with their global counterparts at this prestigious event.
