December 12, 2024 – Zhejiang Jiaren New Material Leads Textile Recycling Innovation with Revolutionary Polyester Fiber
Zhejiang Jiaren New Material Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jiaren New Material”), a pioneer in the field of chemical recycling of textiles, has been dedicated to recycling waste textiles and transforming them into high-quality recycled materials for 12 years. With its profound accumulation in the research, development, production, and sales of recycled materials, Jiaren New Material has become a prominent figure in the industry, continuously driving the development of the textile circular economy.

Recently, Jiaren New Material once again demonstrated its strength in innovative research and development by introducing a revolutionary chemically recycled polyester fiber that can be dyed at ambient temperature and pressure. This new fabric is made from waste textiles and scraps from garment factories, and through Jiaren New Material’s unique chemical recycling system, it undergoes multiple refined processes such as depolymerization, filtration, purification, distillation, and polymerization, successfully achieving the recycling of waste textiles. Notably, this fabric can be dyed at 98°C under ambient temperature and pressure, which not only saves energy but also significantly improves production efficiency.
According to the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, the uniqueness of this polyester fiber lies in the introduction of a third monomer, polyol. This innovative move the fabric a softer touch and excellent high hydrophilicity. Additionally, the fabric exhibits outstanding color fastness and can achieve permanent recycling, truly reflecting Jiaren New Material’s persistent pursuit of environmental protection and sustainable development. What’s more commendable is that the introduced third monomer, polyol, is sourced from Jiaren New Material’s partner, HUNTSMAN. HUNTSMAN extracts these polyol components from discarded plastic products and recycled landfill waste plastics, further enhancing the low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and sustainable recycling attributes of the entire production chain and adding more green value to Jiaren New Material’s new product.
