Inside the PET bottle flake comprehensive utilization project workshop, mountains of plastic bottles undergo a series of complex processing procedures, emerging transformed into recycled PET bottle flakes. These flakes can be widely used in fields such as electronic device films and food packaging, achieving effective recycling of resources.
According to the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, the project, backed by Hubei Hengxin Plastics Co., Ltd., boasts a total investment of 500 million yuan, with a production scale ranking among the top three in the province. Zeng Cheng, the company’s responsible person, revealed that they have introduced world-leading sorting equipment, investing over 20 million yuan in the workshop’s overall equipment. This advanced production method not only enhances product quality but also significantly reduces manual labor, only requiring human intervention in some missed links and special-shaped bottle processing.
After professional processing by Hengxin Plastics, 85% of plastic bottles can be effectively recycled. These recycled products not only conserve resources but also protect the environment, driving the development of green industries. Zeng Cheng stated that their flagship product, recycled PET bottle flakes, are sold to multiple provinces, and they have established partnerships with numerous renowned enterprises.
With the official commissioning of the project, Hubei Hengxin Plastics Co., Ltd. is expected to achieve an annual processing capacity of 100,000 tons of waste bottle bricks, with an estimated annual output value of 1 billion yuan. This achievement highlights the company’s leadership in waste plastic recycling and reuse, making a positive contribution to the entire color masterbatch industry and circular economy.
