The 2025 edition of Vietnam Plas, Southeast Asia’s premier plastics and rubber exhibition, is poised to open its doors at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center from September 17–20. Co-organized by Yorkers Exhibition Service Vietnam and VINEXAD, the event aims to unite industry leaders, suppliers, and innovators across the plastics value chain, offering a platform to showcase cutting-edge technologies, sustainable materials, and end-to-end solutions.

This year’s fair has drawn 200 exhibitors from 13 countries, including major players from China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. Over four days, more than 15,000 trade buyers are expected to converge, seeking partnerships and insights into emerging trends such as circular economy practices, AI-driven manufacturing, and bio-based masterbatch advancements.
Building on 2024’s Cross-Border Momentum
The 2024 edition of Vietnam Plas already underscored its international stature, attracting visitors from 55 nations. Notably, delegations from Vietnam’s neighbors and key manufacturing hubs—China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan—dominated discussions on supply chain resilience and joint R&D initiatives. The event’s credibility was further bolstered by endorsements from the Vietnam Machinery Industry Association and the Vietnam Rubber Association, which co-hosted technical seminars on Industry 4.0 integration.
From Extruders to Eco-Materials: A Spectrum of Innovation
Exhibitors will span the plastics ecosystem, featuring:
- Machinery & Automation: High-speed blow molding lines, precision injection molding robots, and IoT-enabled quality control systems.
- Sustainable Feedstocks: Biodegradable resins, PCR (post-consumer recycled) masterbatches, and chemical recycling catalysts.
- Ancillary Technologies: Energy-efficient heating elements, AI-powered predictive maintenance tools, and zero-waste mold designs.
A dedicated “Green Pavilion” will spotlight circular economy pioneers, including a Vietnamese startup presenting algae-based packaging films and a Taiwanese firm debuting a modular recycling system for small-scale factories.

Beyond product launches, Vietnam Plas 2025 will host B2B matchmaking events, workshops on EU carbon border tax compliance, and a startup pitch competition focused on decarbonizing plastics production. “This is where East meets West in the quest for sustainable growth,” noted Nguyen Thi Hoa, CEO of a Vietnamese masterbatch manufacturer. “The connections made here will shape the industry’s trajectory for years to come.”
