March 26, 2025 – Fujian Gulei Petrochemical has recently announced a significant breakthrough with the successful transition of its ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) plant to produce USI-2810, a specialized material for photovoltaic (PV) white films. This marks a solid step forward for the company in the realm of high-end chemical products. The Chemical Department II team, through meticulous management and process optimization, significantly shortened the transition period and minimized the generation of transitional materials. The new product achieved a 100% pass rate on its first attempt, showcasing Gulei Petrochemical’s technical prowess and production efficiency.

USI-2810, the latest high-end product developed by Gulei Petrochemical, is the result of in-depth market research and a close alignment with customer needs. Adhering to the core philosophy of “fulfilling customer expectations and creating value through service,” the company successfully launched this innovative material tailored for PV white films on April 28, 2024. However, the development of the new product was not without challenges. Significant adjustments to process parameters, coupled with operators’ limited familiarity with the new process, led to temporary system fluctuations and abnormalities during the initial transition, particularly in the pelletizing stage.

They ultimately stabilized the production process, ensuring the high-quality output of USI-2810.
