Expert Endorsement for Xinghua Group’s Coal Chemical Relocation Project

January 18, 2025 – Yanchang Petroleum Group recently hosted a high-profile review meeting for the relocation and upgrade project of Xinghua Group in the historic city of Xi’an. This meeting, characterized by its high standards and specialized nature, gathered 23 leading experts in the domestic coal chemical industry. Key executives from relevant departments of the group, along with leaders and professionals from Xinghua Company, Hualu Engineering Company, and Sedin Engineering Company, were also present to provide collective insights and direction for the project’s overall design.

At the review session, Hualu Engineering and Technology Co., Ltd., serving as the project’s designer, presented a detailed report to the attendees, encompassing various aspects of the project, such as process flow, equipment selection, and layout planning. The presentation fully demonstrated Hualu’s professional expertise and design capabilities in the coal chemical industry.

According to AsiaMB, after carefully listening to the report, the expert panel conducted in-depth research and discussions. They unanimously agreed that the content and depth of the project’s overall design fully comply with relevant national norms. The selected process technologies are deemed mature, advanced, and reliable, aligning with pertinent policies and regulations. After thorough evaluation, the experts collectively approved the project’s overall design.

Furthermore, Shaanxi Xinghua Group plans to relocate its production base to Qingshui Industrial Park in Yushen Industrial Zone, Yulin City. Upon relocation, the company aims to establish a series of modern coal chemical plants using coal as raw material. These include a 600,000 tons/year ammonia synthesis plant, three 270,000 tons/year dilute nitric acid plants, an 860,000 tons/year ammonium nitrate plant (comprising 530,000 tons for commercial use and 330,000 tons for compound fertilizer raw materials), and a 1,000,000 tons/year nitro-compound fertilizer plant. Additionally, a 20,000 tons/year electronic-grade nitric acid plant, a 10,000 tons/year electronic-grade ammonia water plant, and a 60,000 standard cubic meters/hour air separation unit (based on oxygen) will be constructed. The establishment of these plants will inject new vitality into Xinghua Group, driving the company towards higher-quality development in the coal chemical industry.
