August 14, 2024 – Daqing Petrochemical Company recently announced that they have successfully trial-produced 514 tons of a new product, the micro-crosslinked low haze metallocene linear polyethylene resin LKHMS1810. This innovative product has undergone rigorous testing, with all indicators meeting the required standards. This achievement not only fills a domestic technological gap but also marks a significant step forward for Daqing Petrochemical in the field of functional synthetic resins.

According to reports, this new polyethylene resin can be applied in various fields such as greenhouse films, and is expected to replace traditional high-pressure polyethylene products (LDPE). This substitution could potentially help downstream processing enterprises reduce raw material costs and improve business efficiency. Daqing Petrochemical utilized a linear device fluidized bed process to produce this micro-crosslinked low haze metallocene linear polyethylene, which is the first such attempt in China.
AsiaMB has learned that the Polyolefins Department of Daqing Petrochemical is equipped with six polyethylene production plants, capable of developing and producing over 170 grades of high, medium, and low-density products. Its products are not only sold to various regions including East China, North China, Southwest China, and South China, but have also won multiple honors. Among them, the HDPE5000S product has won a national gold award, while 2426F, 5500B, 18D, and other products have also been rated as nationally satisfying products. In addition, its mineral water bottle material DMDH6400 has successfully entered the high-end food industry, and the IBC bucket special material DMDB4506 has been exported overseas, obtaining more than 10 international certifications. It is worth mentioning that Daqing Petrochemical’s product qualification rate has always been maintained at 100%, fully demonstrating its excellent strength and strict quality control in the chemical industry.
