Bio-based Nylon Alliance Forms to Drive Industry Growth

Recently, several leading enterprises in the textile industry have jointly established the Bio-based Nylon Textile Industry Alliance to promote the development of the bio-based nylon industry.

This alliance brings together industry leaders, including Heilongjiang Yipin New Material Co., Ltd. as the chairman unit, Fujian Yongrong Jinjiang Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Textile Import and Export Corporation as vice chairman units. Additionally, Shandong Zhongkang Guochuang Advanced Printing and Dyeing Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Haiou Baisheng Textile Co., Ltd. have also joined as governing units, contributing to the alliance’s growth and development.

According to the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, the alliance will focus on three core missions. Firstly, it aims to strengthen technological innovation by collaborating on research and development and sharing technology to overcome key industry challenges and drive progress. Secondly, the alliance intends to deepen resource sharing by creating an efficient information exchange platform for instant sharing of market and technical information, thereby enhancing the alliance’s overall competitiveness. Lastly, the alliance members will work together to develop market expansion strategies, enhance brand influence, and increase market share.

Li Zengjun, the Chief Economist of the China Chemical Fibers Industry Association and Executive Vice President of the Bio-based Chemical Fibers and Raw Materials Branch, has highly praised the establishment of this alliance. He believes it is a significant measure to cultivate new productive forces. Although the alliance initially consists of only eight members, these members cover multiple key links in the industry chain and possess notable advantages in their respective fields. Li Zengjun anticipates that the alliance will facilitate the rapid development of the bio-based nylon industry, particularly products like bio-based nylon 56, which are expected to be the first to achieve mass application.

Li Zengjun also suggests that alliance members should continuously enhance their respective advantages in the industry value chain through close cooperation. By doing so, they can jointly promote product development, management methodologies, and technological innovations, ultimately strengthening the alliance’s overall strength and market competitiveness.
