JiaChuang New Materials (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. has recently drawn industry attention with a new patent application. The company has submitted a patent titled “Efficient Production Processing Technology and Specialized Equipment for Blow Molding Sheets” .
According to the patent abstract, this invention delves into the realm of blow molding sheet production technology, presenting an innovative method and accompanying equipment for efficient sheet manufacturing. The equipment is ingeniously designed, comprising a base plate that sequentially houses a pre-mixing unit, a proportioning unit, a main extrusion unit, and an auxiliary extrusion unit. These components work in harmony to facilitate the high-efficiency production of blow molding sheets.
As reported by the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, the technological highlight lies in the adoption of advanced double-layer (or optionally triple-layer) co-extrusion technology. This technology divides the sheet structure into a main layer and a surface layer, with a thickness ratio meticulously set at 4:1. The main layer employs an anti-impact and anti-yellowing diffusion board formula, blending GPPS, diffusion masterbatch, HIPS, and anti-UV masterbatch, ensuring the material exhibits exceptional resistance to yellowing and impact.
The surface layer, on the other hand, utilizes a proprietary formula developed exclusively by the company. It incorporates GPPS, matting agent, anti-scratch agent, anti-UV masterbatch, antioxidant, and HIPS. This formula not only retains the anti-yellowing and anti-impact properties but also significantly enhances the material’s wear resistance and effectively reduces reflectivity. As a result, the outer surface of the blow molding sheet exhibits an elegant matte finish, further bolstering its resistance to yellowing.
