January 15, 2025 – Guangdong Yijuyuan Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. has recently been granted a patent for a novel technology and system named “New Technique and System for Detecting Particle Size Uniformity of BPE Color Masterbatch,” . The application for this invention was submitted in September 2024.

This invention falls under the category of data processing technology, specifically targeting the detection of particle size uniformity in BPE color masterbatch. The technology involves collecting basic information from the particle size detection device, as well as weight data of trays and gray-scale images of sieve meshes from each aperture adjustment experiment. By analyzing changes in tray weight, the mass of color masterbatch particles that have fallen through can be calculated, indicating the degree of mass increase. Simultaneously, the technology calculates the extent of aperture adjustment and, combined with the sieve mesh hole size, determines the pulling distance of the partition plate, further deducing the rotation angle of the gears.
According to Color Masterbatch Industry Network, the core of this technology lies in the in-depth analysis of color masterbatch areas in sieve mesh gray-scale images. Through iterative adjustments to the length of sieve apertures, the screening process for color masterbatch particles is completed. Based on this, the revised sieve aperture length is determined, and a scatter plot curve of aperture adjustment experiments is plotted, ultimately leading to the assessment results of the color masterbatch particles. This novel technology significantly enhances the accuracy of detecting particle size uniformity in color masterbatch by comprehensively analyzing tray weight and sieve mesh gray-scale images from each aperture adjustment experiment, providing the color masterbatch production industry with a more reliable detection method.
